When you create and use a LeVerrier account, we collect:

| Contact form and feedback messages | The name, email, message or rating you send us is emailed to our support mailbox so we can read and reply to it; it is not saved in our database. A one-way hash of your IP address is used briefly to limit form abuse. |
Solely to operate the Service: authenticate you, personalize dashboard content, send the daily newsletter if you've opted in, and maintain basic account security. We do not use your data to train any AI model.
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure to operate - our hosting provider, our email-sending provider, and the various public/commercial data feeds that power dashboard content (see Terms of Use, Section 7). These providers may incidentally process data (e.g. your email address passing through our email provider to deliver the newsletter) strictly as needed to provide that function, not for their own independent use.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account yourself at any time from My Account in the dashboard: your account is deactivated immediately and your data is erased after a 30-day grace period, during which you can cancel by logging back in. You can also ask us to delete your data by contacting us at support@leverrier.ai (or via our contact page).
Passwords are hashed (never stored in plain text). Password reset links are single-use, expire after 1 hour, and are never stored in plain text. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not directed at children. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
